Legal Counsel m/w/d

Job description

  • Providing legal advice and support to the Victorinox Group on a broad range of legal matters, with a focus on contract law, distribution law, competition and antitrust law, as well as product safety, product liability, and product compliance
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating national and international agreements and contracts
  • Managing and advising on corporate law matters and supporting the implementation and maintenance of legally compliant corporate governance practices
  • Supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks while providing practical and legally sound recommendations for action

Profile

  • Completed degree in Law (Master’s degree or equivalent) with a Swiss Bar Admission or a comparable legal qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years as an In-House Legal Counsel in an internationally operating company
  • Solid expertise in contract law, distribution law, competition and antitrust law, corporate law, as well as product safety, product liability, and product compliance
  • Experience in compliance matters is an advantage
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of commercial interrelationships and the entire value chain of an internationally operating organization
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
